This is the same account-deletion operation used by the Sontrove mobile clients. It is available from the website without installing an app, but authentication is required so that nobody who only knows an email address can delete the account.
What is deleted
The account, sessions, refresh tokens, password-reset and email-verification records, social-login identities, subscription record in Sontrove, device authorization tickets, library index, playlists, playback queue, and diagnostic logs are deleted or queued for deletion as described by the service response.
The account deletion is irreversible. An active subscription is cancelled before deletion; if cancellation fails, deletion stops and the account remains intact so that billing is not orphaned.
What may be retained
The service may retain minimum device-revocation identifiers until certificates expire (up to 365 days), limited repeat-infringer enforcement records when required, and transaction records retained by the payment provider for legal and accounting purposes. If a library purge is still running, the account page reports that status.
Need help?
